Over 200 years ago, at Valley Forge, young soldiers of courage and honor
helped to change America forever.

Today, America’s young leaders still come from Valley Forge - Valley Forge Military College, that is. Graduates have gone on to become Rhodes Scholars, White House Fellows, Grammy winners, professional athletes, and influential business and military leaders.
Valley Forge Military College – The Military College of Pennsylvania is a private, co-educational, residential college that offers the freshman and sophomore years of college.
The primary mission of VFMC is for students to earn an associate's degree, and move on to transfer to competitive four-year colleges and universities. The College, established in 1935, has a long tradition of fostering personal growth through a comprehensive system built on the five cornerstones that make Valley Forge unique: academic excellence, character development, personal motivation, physical development, and leadership to all students regardless of race, creed, or national origin.
Our diverse student body represents more than 31 states and 35 countries. VFMC has an excellent transfer record, with 95 percent of cadets accepted to their first or second choice schools. More than 63 percent were admitted to the top-tier schools in the country.
Valley Forge Military College is the only college in the northeastern United States that offers qualified freshmen the opportunity to participate in an Early Commissioning Program, leading to a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves or Army National Guard at the end of their sophomore year. The U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and the U.S. Naval Academy have all sponsored Service Academy Preparatory cadets through their Foundation Scholarship Programs and other programs to attend Valley Forge Military College.
