All students earning an Associate in Business Administration must complete 60 credit hours of course work, completing all Core and Program requirements, totaling 50-57 credits, depending on level of math and military science completed. Remaining requirements must be fulfilled by elective credits. Elective credits may be completed using the business electives or any other free electives for the Associate in Business Administration program.
An Associate in Business Administration provides students with a solid foundation in the fundamental principles of Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Management, and Business Law. In conjunction with the broad-based liberal arts and sciences education afforded to all students through the completion of the VFMC core curriculum, the VFMC Business program prepares students to pursue further study in an array of business specializations that include: administration, international business, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and management.
To receive either an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science Degree or an Associate in Business Administration, all students must complete a minimum of 60 credits total, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of a 2.0 or higher.
In addition, ECP students must complete a military history course.
International students must complete a leadership development course in lieu of the Military Science course requirement.
